We invite researchers, educators, education system leaders and policy makers to join in conversation to:

  • Problematize colonial legacies and address current inequities in assessment practice
  • Address social consequences of assessment
  • Promote equity, fairness, validity and reliability in assessment
  • Develop understandings of multilingual assessment across diverse sociocultural contexts
  • Generate empirical support for multilingual approaches to assessment and education
  • Articulate implications for curriculum policy and education reform
